PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle height adjusting device for reducing a load of a motor capable of reducing the size of the motor and reducing energy consumption. SOLUTION: The number of threads of one out of a female screw 13a of a nut 13 as part of a feed screw mechanism for driving a piston 11 of a pump P for supplying and discharging an operating fluid into/from a jack chamber J, and a male screw 14a of a screw shaft 14 is set to the minimum to satisfy strength required for coping with a shearing force to be operated by pressure in a pump chamber L. This reduces the friction resistance of the piston when driven, thus reducing the load of the motor, reducing the size of the motor, and reducing energy consumption. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
