CHARGING CONTROLLER FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging controller for an electric vehicle, which improves convenience by using a key of a house or a vehicle as an authentication key for charging. SOLUTION: There is provided a charging controller A for the electric vehicle which is disposed near an outlet 2 to which a charging cable 1 is connected to control energization of the outlet 2 and controls power supply to an electric vehicle 3 connected to the outlet 2 via the charging cable 1. The charging controller A includes: an authentication section 6 for an electronic portable key 5 to be used to certify a house 4 or an electric vehicle 3; and a control section 7 using the establishment of authentication in the authentication section 6 as a requirement for starting energization.
