<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of preventing the occurrence of wrinkle and unevenness in the uppermost surface layer, achieving high mechanical strength of the uppermost surface layer, preventing the occurrence of deterioration of electric characteristics and image characteristics due to repetitive use for a long time, and obtaining a stable image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor includes at least a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer provided on the conductive substrate. The uppermost surface layer is a layer formed of a hardened substance of a composition containing at least one kind of the compound expressed by formula (I) (wherein, F denotes organic group of n-valent having positive hole transport property, R denotes hydrogen atom or alkyl group, L denotes divalent organic group, n denotes integer of 1 or more, and j denotes 0 or 1) and a surface active agent including, in molecule, one kind of structure or more among (A) the structure constituted by polymerizing acryl monomer having fluorine atom, (B) the structure having carbon-carbon double bond and fluorine atom, (C) alkylene oxide structure, and (D) the structure having carbon-carbon triple bond and hydroxy group.
