Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display apparatus, a first pixel (i, 1) and a second pixel P(i, 2) adjacent in a predetermined direction share one data line S(i), the first pixel P(i, 1) is connected to a first scanning line G(1), the second pixel P(i, 2) is connected to a second scanning line G(2), a display signal voltage Vd is written to the first pixel P(i, 1) and the second pixel P(i, 2) at different timings, and the display signal voltage Vd has two different voltage levels for a predetermined gray level. When the display signal voltage Vd is written to the pixels, a common signal Vcom is supplied to a common electrode Gn so that voltage differences Vc1 and Vc2 from a center voltage Vdc of the two voltage levels are different between the first pixel P(i, 1) and the second pixel P(i, 2).
