<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device in a vehicle performing information display in a color easily recognizable to a driver even if a plurality of background colors are mixed in the display part of display information. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display information is projected by a head-up display 24, and a background color when a driver looks at the display part in which the head-up display 24 projects the display information 104 is detected from the position of the driver's eyes by a driver's sight line point monitoring camera 16. Moreover, when there are a plurality of background colors concerning the display, a display color selection ECU 20 allows display in a display frame 102 in a color different from background colors while allowing the projection of the display frame 102 surrounding the display information 104 to the display color selection ECU 20. Therefore, even if the plurality of background colors are mixed in the display of the display information 104, the information 104 can be displayed in a color easily recognizable to the driver by the color in the display frame 102 different from the background colors.
