<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device of good quality having no possibility of disconnection in a flexible wiring board, irrespective of a large screen panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes: an IC chip 70 which drives an electrode of a plasma display panel; and a module 50 having a flexible wiring substrate 52 having a lead wire 62 for transmitting output of the IC chip 70 to the electrode and a heat dissipation plate 76 for heat dissipation of the IC chip 70, wherein the flexible wiring substrate 52 is constituted of a base material (resin film) 60, the lead wire 62 formed on the base material 60, and a protection member (resist film) 68 for protecting the lead wire 62, and has a slit 54 in the direction which does not cross the lead wire 62, and the base material 60 is provided on the whole surface except the slit 54.
