METHOD FOR CONCENTRATING GLYCOPEPTIDE HAVING SULFATED SUGAR CHAIN AND KIT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively concentrating a peptide having a sulfated sugar chain. SOLUTION: Concentration of a glycopeptide having the sulfated sugar chain can be carried out by processing at least comprising (1) the step to add a carbodiimide and a nucleophilic agent to a solution obtained by dissolving a peptide mixture prepared by treating a bio-specimen with a proteinase in a weakly acidic liquid and amidating carboxyl group in the peptide mixture, (2) the step to remove excess reaction reagents from the solution containing a group comprising the amidated peptide mixture, and (3) the step to concentrate the glycopeptide having the sulfated sugar chain from the solution containing the peptide mixture free from the reagents by ion-exchange chromatography.
