The present invention relates to a method and system for selectively providing contextual advertising services considering the intent of the advertiser and of the publisher, and a computer readable recording medium.  According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for selectively providing contextual advertising services considering the intent of the advertiser who provides a contextual advertisement and of the publisher who manages a web space comprises the steps of: receiving from the advertiser's system a bid request for displaying a contextual advertisement; receiving from the publisher's system rules for displaying a contextual advertisement; and displaying the bid-requested contextual advertisement on the web space, based on the bid request and the rules.
