METHOD FOR LEARNING CHINESE PRONUNCIATION USING KOREAN SPELLING AND INPUT DEVICE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a Korean alphabet spelling method for Chinese pronunciation training and an input device thereof, wherein the method and the device are for efficiently learning the tone and pronunciation of Chinese characters. The inventive method comprises: ? indicating a monophthong in one syllable and a diphthong in two syllables respectively, but if necessary, indicating some diphthongs in three syllables to maximally reflect the tone vocalization and phonetic value of a native Chinese speaker; ? applying the classification between plain consonants (basic consonants) and tense consonants (fortes) to Chinese tone vocalization in order to classify Chinese into tone groups which are respectively vocalized in plain consonants (basic consonants) and tense consonants (fortes), wherein the classification exists only in standard Korean; and ? adding an extra long-vowel notation to a first character in the Chinese tone such as rising or departing tone in order to distinguish the rising or departing tone from the other tones, wherein the rising or departing tone starts in a low tone and is pronounced in only a long vowel. Consequently, a student is able to determine whether the extra long-vowel notation exists with a plain or tense consonant in a first syllable when reading the exclusive Korean transcription results for Chinese pronunciation training of the invention. Therefore, the student is able to vocalize and memorize a Chinese tone by subconsciously and promptly distinguishing 4 Chinese tones.
