GASKET FOR MOLTEN CARBON FUEL CELL AND SEALING METHOD BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A gasket for a molten carbonate fuel cell, and a sealing method using thereof are provided to change the shape of a stack and a manifold of the molten carbonate fuel cell when sealing. CONSTITUTION: A gasket(10) for a molten carbonate fuel cell is installed in between a manifold(30) and a stack(40). The gasket includes a filler formed with a material capable of increasing the volume under the oxidation condition, and decreasing the volume under the reducing condition. The gasket has a porous structure, and is formed with a zirconia felt. The filler includes a cerium oxide.
