PURPOSE: A device for preventing a pier from scouring is provided to be cost-efficiently and easily installed and to prevent horseshoe vortex and wake vortex occurred in the front of a pier. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a pier from scouring comprises multiple flowing water direction guide plates(10). The flowing water direction guide plates are installed along the surface of a circular pier(3) installed underwater. The flowing water direction guide plates help the direction of flowing water to naturally flow upward when the flowing water collides with the front surface of the pier.
