HIGH VOLTAGE GAS CIRCUIT BREAKER

PURPOSE: An extra-high voltage gas insulation circuit breaker is provided to improve a breaking speed by reducing a gap between a cylinder rod and an insulation rod through a link device. CONSTITUTION: A movable arc contactor(7) engages with a fixed arc contactor(2). A cylinder rod(20) is combined with a movable arc contactor. An insulation rod(30) is connected to the cylinder rod through a link device. The end part of the insulation rod is connected to a manipulator. An injection nozzle(8) sprays gas on a gap between the movable arc contactor and the fixed arc contactor. A reverse link moves the fixed arc contactor in a direction which his opposite to the moving direction of the cylinder rod.
