PURPOSE: A spindle motor and an information storage device using the spindle motor are provided to prevent a flowing to a radial direction of a rotary shaft by fixing a slide crone to a turn table. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor comprises a rotary shaft(150), a slide cone(260), a turn-table(230), and a lever. The slide cone comprises a storage media contact unit and a cylindrical cone supporting unit. The turn-table comprises cylindrical storage media mounting unit, a cone receiving unit, and a shaft support. A lever has a bend body. The lever is formed in lower part of the slide cone to push up the slide cone by elastic force which is generated in space between the cone receiving unit and a slide cone.
