PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery of which large current output characteristics in a low SOC are improved.

SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes: a positive electrode 3 having a positive electrode active material containing layer containing a positive electrode active material having lithium manganese composite oxide, and a positive electrode collector on which the positive electrode active material-containing layer is formed; a negative electrode 4 containing negative electrode active material which makes charging and discharging reaction at potential higher by 1V or more to lithium; and a nonaqueous electrolyte.
