PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which has a function of preventing fraudulent control from a main control board to a peripheral board which is a part to be controlled together with high security protection ability. SOLUTION: When a control command to be transmitted to the peripheral board 320 is a prescribed control command, the main control board 310 generates an authentication code for authenticating the main control board 310 and a synchronous code including continuously outputted packet information as an operation inspection value of the main control board 310, and adds the authentication code and the synchronous code to the control command. The control command to which the codes are added is transmitted to the peripheral board 320. When receiving the control command, the peripheral board 320 authenticates the main control board 310 using the authentication code added to the control command, and authenticates the operation order of the main control board 310 using the synchronous code. Then, when both of authentication by the authentication code and authentication by the synchronous code are established, it is authenticated that the main control board 310 outputs a correct control command.
