<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of preventing damages to a corner portion by an externally applied impact while achieving weight reduction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A palm rest 7 includes a side wall 12 forming a corner portion C. An elongated hole 18 is formed in the side wall 12 of the corner portion C. An antitheft reinforcement member 50 includes a corner reinforcement portion 56 adjacently provided along an inner surface 70 of the side wall 12 of the corner portion C. Moreover, an elongated hole 62 communicatively connecting to the elongated hole 18 is formed in the antitheft reinforcement member 50. Thereby, the electronic device 1 can be locked to prevent theft by inserting an antitheft lock portion 100 into the elongated holes 18 and 62 of the corner portion C of the palm rest 7. Thus, while preventing theft of the electronic device 1 by using the antitheft reinforcement member 50, the side wall 12 of the corner portion C can be reinforced with the corner reinforcement portion 56. In other words, the antitheft reinforcement member 50 can be used for both antitheft and reinforcement purposes, thereby allowing reinforcement of the corner portion C of the electronic device 1 as well as weight reduction of the electronic device 1.
