<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a stray capacitance of a signal transmission device small in transmitting a signal between two coils formed on a support substrate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The signal transmission device includes a first coil 8 arranged with a predetermined gap on the support substrate 2, and a second coil 11 formed opposite to the first coil 8 through an insulating layer 10.
