<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash wherein a top surface of an auxiliary sill constantly becomes almost horizontal even when an angle of inclination of a top surface of a sill is different. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Inner and outer sliding screens 2 and 3 are housed in a double sliding manner in a frame body 1 in which a head, the sill, and right and left jambs are framed. In the sill 11 constituting the frame body 1, inner and outer rails 20 and 21 for guiding the inner and outer sliding screens are formed on the top surface while a threshold surface 15 including upper ends of the inner and outer rails is formed in an approximately flat shape. The auxiliary sill 16 is provided in an area between the inner and outer rails on the top surface of the sill 11, and includes a top surface portion 16c approximately as high as upper end positions of the inner and outer rails. An indoor side portion 16d of the top surface portion 16c is formed to be inclined downward toward the indoor side while an outdoor side portion 16e thereof is formed to be inclined downward toward the outdoor side.
