PURPOSE: A cigarette and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the fragments of cigarette from coming out of the case when carrying the cigarette within the pocket, bag, and the like. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of cigarette includes: a step of applying the glue in which water and wheat flour are mixed at about the ratio of 1 : 4 in the end part of the cigarette on the flat support stand like a glass at a fixed height; and a step of bonding the thin paper to the bottom of cigarette by pressurizing the bottom part of cigarette to the soft thin paper. In the bonding step, the cigarette piece is bonded by pressurizing the cigarette piece downward and vertically in the hole of the support stand.
