摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring and control system that does not cause, not only decrease in the processing speed but also wastes in a connection port of a monitoring unit. SOLUTION: An input unit 16 and output unit 17 are connected to a monitoring unit 11, and monitoring and control are carried out by a monitoring server 10. The monitoring unit 11 not only adds IP address and port number information of the monitoring unit 11 to telegram messages from multiple general purpose ports 14, to which the foregoing units are connected and input unit 16, but also includes a communication module 15 and LAN terminal 2 common to each general purpose port that transmits the telegram messages including control information to the output unit 17 displayed in the port number information that is included in the telegram messages from the monitoring server 10. The input unit 16 includes an interface that converts signals from the input unit into the telegram messages and transmits intoa communication module 15, and the output unit 17 includes an interface that converts the telegram messages received from the communication module 15 into control signals and outputs to the output unit connected thereto.
