<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical frame member for the external frame of a Pachinko game machine, the frame member eliminating the combining work with screws for the vertical frame member made of a thin metal plate by enabling the thin metal plate to be assembled into the vertical frame member by a simple work, and to provide the external frame for the Pachinko game machine using the vertical frame member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: For this vertical frame member for the external frame of the Pachinko game machine, the rectangular metal plate is molded by bending in the longitudinal direction a plurality of times, and is configured such that one end side edge section and the other end side edge section which have been molded by bending on both ends in the shorter direction of the metal plate may be combined.
