<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log collection process monitoring system for collecting operation logs of an electronic device, allowing prevention of a loss of a high-priority log when failure occurs in infrastructure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Analysis is performed by a system situation analysis means 92 of this log collection process monitoring system 9 based on the operation logs stored in a log collection/preservation system 2 for collecting and preserving the logs output by the electronic device 1 and an infrastructure monitoring log recording the failure of the infrastructure detected by an operation management system 7, a lost situation of the log is decided by a lost situation decision means based on an analysis result thereof and a decision rule previously stored in a decision rule storage means 94, and log transmission/collection policy of the electronic device 1 and the log collection/preservation system 2 is rewritten.
