<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for a universal joint, securing the durability against high-speed rotation and meeting a demand for reducing a repulsive load in an axial direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The boot comprises a telescopically-deformable bellows 1 formed to gradually reduce in diameter from one of axial ends towards the other end, a large-diameter attaching part 2 formed at the one axial end of the bellows 1 and attached to a housing of the universal joint, and a small-diameter attaching part 3 formed at the other axial end of the bellows 1 and attached to a rotating shaft connected to the universal joint. The bellows 1 is formed to be relatively thick at a portion 1A near the large-diameter attaching part 2 and relatively thin at a portion 1B near the small-diameter attaching part 3.
