<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure attaining a stable and firm mounted state of ventilation furring strips or the like, eliminating the projection of a screw tip from the lower face side of a deck plate, determining the mounting position of the ventilation furring strips or the like regardless of the position of a crest part of the deck plate and achieving it with easy construction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The upper face of the deck plate 3 is provided with a heat insulating layer 4 formed of plywood with a heat insulating material by bonding a foam resin heat insulating material 12 to one surface of the plywood 11 to integrate them. The heat insulating layer with the foam resin heat insulating material 12 placed at the lower side and with the plywood 11 placed at the upper side is installed on the upper face of the deck plate 3. A roofing material 7 is installed on a waterproof sheet 5 on the plywood 11 through the ventilation furring strips 6, and the ventilation furring strips 6 are mounted with screws or nails 14 driven with the plywood 11 as backing.
