PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set facilitating input through an operating key during a call. SOLUTION: When approach or contact of a face to a detection region sandwiched between a microphone 41 and a speaker 42 is detected during a call, arrangement of image keys is changed from a state shown in Fig.3a to that shown in Fig.3b. Concretely, the arrangement of the image keys required for a call, namely a hold key 81, an OFF key 74, a volume up key 82, and a volume down key 83, is changed closer to the microphone 41, and an instruction input through the image keys is controlled as the same instruction before the arrangement change.
