PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant composition having high deodorant effects, excellent durability thereof and good sense of use, and containing zinc oxide. SOLUTION: The deodorant composition contains composite particles including (A) the zinc oxide and (B) a water-soluble polymer compound. The composite particle preferably contains (C) a liquid oil besides them, and the mass ratio of the components (A)/(C) is from 30/70 to 70/30 in the deodorant composition.
