<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a feeling of expectation to winning of a special prize and amusement of a game in a slot machine in which when a game making a variable display of two or more reels in response to the input of the number of bets and game player's start operation is performed and the prize lottery result of drawing lots in the performance of the game is winning of the special prize, the stop control for the respective reels is conducted to stop a special symbol combination mode, and the stop of the special symbol combination mode is taken as the establishment of the special prize to generate a special game state allowing the game player to perform a game advantageous to him. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slot machine includes: bet number input control means for permitting a game based on the input of the specific number of bets while a specific special game state occurs; and probability control means for performing lottery while the winning probability of another special prize is set higher than that in the case of a bet number other than the specific number of bets in performing the game with the specific number of bets.
