<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection screen by which stray light leading to a factor of contrast deterioration in a video image is effectively used as energy to raise the contrast of the video image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The projection screen 100 includes: a lens array sheet 1 having a plurality of lenses 1a; a light incident part 3 which is provided at a position where video light L1 is made incident through the lenses 1a of the lens array sheet 1; and a light absorption part 2 which absorbs light L2 except the video light L1 and is constituted of photoelectric conversion elements.
