<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus with a magnetic separator and to reduce cleaning time of a magnetic filter of the magnetic separator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus is equipped with a magnetic separator 5 in which a processing liquid containing substance to be removed including metallic substance and/or magnetic substance is put through magnetic filters 12, so that the substance to be removed is magneto-deposited and separated. In the magnetic separator, a plurality of magnetic filters 12 in an array are freely attachably/detachably mounted on a support bar 10, with the support bar freely movably housed inside a liquid feeding tube 6 composed of a magnetically permeable material. On one side in the longitudinal direction of the liquid feeding tube 6, a magnet is arranged, making a magnetic separation area X1 for imparting magnetism to the magnetic filter in the liquid feeding tube, with the other side turned to a cleaning area X2.
