PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new medical composition having an airway goblet cell hyperplasia inhibitory action, particularly useful for prevention and treatment of respiratory tract diseases, further for prevention and treatment of such as cold. SOLUTION: No single medicine exhibits airway goblet cell hyperplasia inhibitory action, however, a new expression of the airway goblet cell hyperplasia inhibitory action was found by the combination of amlexanox and ephedrines, and the task was solved.
