PURPOSE: A catalyst for purifying 2,6- naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, a manufacturing method thereof, and a purification method using the same are provided to offer good usability without degradation of catalyst activity, and to remarkably reduce the production amount of naphthoic acid. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a catalyst for purifying 2,6- naphthalene dicarboxylic acid includes the following steps: offering a porous activity carbon carrier; pre-treating the porous activity carbon carrier with a nitric acid solution; manufacturing a precursor solution by dissolving a halogenated compound of halogenation palladium / platinum / rhodium or palladium, platinum a nitrate compound of rhodium or halogenation platinum, halogenation palladium, halogenation rhodium, halogenation palladium / platinum; forming a porous activity carbon catalyst by dipping the precursor solution in the porous activity carbon carrier; and analyzing the porous activity carbon catalyst. |
