PURPOSE: A track occupant protection system is provided to protect a track occupant by enabling a landing unit of an airbag function to pop up. CONSTITUTION: A track occupant protection system comprises a detecting unit(100), and a landing unit(200). The detecting unit senses the presence and the absence of the track occupant who occupies a track(20). The landing unit comprises a space to land the occupant if the detecting unit senses the occupant. The landing unit includes a frame, an airbag, and an inflator. The frame is installed in the front bottom of the train to enable the body of the line occupant to be landed. The airbag is installed at the frame and is inflated in order to relieve the shock of the occupant. The inflator explodes to inflate the airbag and generates nitrogen gas. |
