PURPOSE: A remote phosphor LED system is provided to improve light efficiency by transmitting light emitted from an LED module to a phosphorescent module. CONSTITUTION: An LED module(20) has an LED emitting surface(23) for emitting light with a short wavelength. A phosphorescent module(30A) is separated from an LED module in a length direction. The phosphorescent module has a phosphorescent layer(32) for absorbing the light with the short wavelength and emitting the wavelength-changed light. An internal reflector surrounds the LED emitting surface in a columnar direction. The internal reflector is extended from the LED emitting surface to the phosphorescent module. An external reflector(42) surrounds the phosphorescent layer in the columnar direction. |
