The duct e.g. air intake manifold (1), has an air inlet receiving combustion air from a turbocharger. An exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) inlet (6) injects exhaust gases into the combustion air. A charge air cooler is arranged downstream to the EGR inlet and integrated into the duct. The EGR inlet is sealingly positioned in the charge air cooler or conducts the exhaust gases into the charge air cooler. The EGR inlet is discharged in a cooled intake flange (3). The flange is cooled by the charge air cooler. The duct is made of plastic. |
