PURPOSE: A blowing amount control device of a pulverized coal and a controlling method thereof are provided to control the blowing amount of the pulverized coal. CONSTITUTION: A blowing amount control device of a pulverized coal comprises a moisture detection unit(200), a correction unit(300) and a controlling unit(400). The moisture detection unit detects the moisture contained in the pulverized coal inserted in the shaft furnace. The correction unit computes and stores the quantity of water, pulverized coal rate and correction blowing amount. According to correction is the quantity of water of the pulverized coal, the correction blowing amount is decided. The controlling element controls the pulverized coal rate inserted in the shaft furnace. The correction unit comprises an operation unit, a memory unit and a controller. The operation unit comprises the first operation unit and the second operation unit.
