<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor control device which can reduce false detection of wrong wiring without requiring wasted time for restoration to gas concentration measuring action when the trouble of wrong wiring is solved. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor control device 5 is connected to a gas sensor 8 having cells 14 and 24 with a pair of electrodes on solid electrolytes 13 and 23, while having a sensor drive circuit 52. The gas sensor control device 5 includes a command means which outputs the command for setting de-energized status and energized status of the sensor drive circuit 52 to the cells 14 and 24, a setting means 55 for setting the sensor drive circuit 52 to de-energized status or energized status, and a wrong wiring detection means 58 for detecting wrong wiring of the sensor drive circuit 52 or the gas sensor 8. Further the gas sensor control device 5 includes an abnormality determining means which instructs the command means to output de-energization command and then output energization command for abnormal return identification processing when wrong wiring is detected, identifying the abnormality if the wrong wiring problem is not solved even by abnormal return identification processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
