<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow passage changeover mechanism switching exhaust gas flow passages of an exhaust system, inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The flow passage changeover mechanism 10 is disposed at a branched part 3 where the exhaust passage 1 is branched into a first exhaust passage 4 and a second exhaust passage 6 in an exhaust passage 1 of an engine, and switches the exhaust gas flow passage between the first exhaust passage 4 and the second exhaust passage 6 by rotation of a valve element 11 around the branched part 3 as a fulcrum point. The flow passage changeover mechanism 10 includes: an elastic member 14 biasing a valve element 11 in a direction blocking the first exhaust passage 4; and a pressure receiving part 13 receiving dynamic pressures of exhaust gas to rotate the valve element 11 in a direction blocking the second exhaust passage 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
