<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjusting method of a vehicular headlamp, by correctly adjusting the optical axis of the vehicular headlamp, by accurately measuring an inclination of an inclination measuring device, even when front-rear ultrasonic sensors measure distances up to a road surface with a time difference in traveling, by using the inclination measuring device having the ultrasonic sensors having an ultrasonic transmitter and an ultrasonic receiver back and forth the advancing direction of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The distances Hf and Hr up to the road surface are alternately measured in a plurality by the front-rear ultrasonic sensors, and after calculating an average value of a measuring result by the respective ultrasonic sensors, the optical axis of the headlamp is adjusted by calculating an angleαto a virtual road surface of the front-rear ultrasonic sensors by the average value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
