PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily visually recognizing a printed image even when color material stored in a cartridge is not the one recommended by a printer maker.
SOLUTION: C'M'Y'K' values are set to be higher values in a high concentration correction table generated when toner stored in the cartridge 100 is determined as a non-brand-name article than in an ordinary concentration correction table generated when the toner stored in the cartridge 100 is determined as a regular article. Hence, the density of the printed image formed on printing paper can be made higher when the toner stored in the cartridge 100 is determined as the non-brand-name article than when the toner stored therein is determined as the regular article. Even when the stored toner is determined as the non-brand-name article, therefore, the printed image is easily visually recognized.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
