PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type electronic apparatus in which a foreign matter can be prevented from entering cases. SOLUTION: In the slide type electronic apparatus, an upper case 1 and a lower case 2 are connected slidably and one of the upper case 1 and the lower case 2 is slid with respect to the other. The electronic apparatus is switched between a closed state where an operating section 2b provided in the lower case 2 is covered with the upper case 1, and an open state where the operating section 2b is exposed. Furthermore, the slide type electronic apparatus includes an opening 1c provided on the lower surface of the upper case 1, an opening 2c provided on the upper surface of the lower case 2, and an FPC 3 for electrically connecting a wiring board 9 to a wiring board 10. The FPC 3 includes a cover portion 3a mounted on the lower surface of the upper case 1 so as to cover the opening 1c and a cover portion 3b mounted on the upper surface of the lower case 2 so as to cover the opening 2c. The cover portion 3a is electrically connected to the wiring board 9 inside the upper case 1 and the cover portion 3b is electrically connected to the wiring board 10 inside the lower case 2.
