PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-permeable carpet preventing the flow velocity reduction of air passing through in the thickness direction, clogging of a vent hole or deterioration in the appearance. SOLUTION: The air-permeable carpet includes a pile layer 36 comprising a plurality of piles 34 and a backing layer 32 provided with the vent holes 38, and the base parts of the plurality of piles 34 near the vent hole 38 are fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the vent hole 38. The flow velocity reduction of the air passing through in the thickness direction, the clogging of the vent hole and the deterioration in the appearance in the air-permeable carpet are prevented.
