PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle height adjusting device which does not cause a malfunction while reducing a load of a motor and energy consumption. SOLUTION: A pump P includes a cylinder 10, a pump chamber L partitioned by a piston 11 slidably inserted into the cylinder 10 and communicating with a jack chamber J, and a drive means for driving the piston 11 relative to the cylinder 10 in the axial direction. The drive means includes a feed screw mechanism which is composed of a cylindrical nut 13 arranged at the counter pump chamber side of the piston 11 for supporting the piston 11 at the counter pump chamber side and prevented from rotating relative to the cylinder 10 by a guide member 16 fixed to the cylinder 10, and having a female screw 13a at the inner periphery, and a screw shaft 14 provided rotatably relative to the cylinder 10, and having a male screw 14a at the front end to be threaded to the female screw 13a of the nut 13. The guide member has a guide 16b formed of a low friction material which slide-contacts with the outer periphery of the nut 13 to prevent the rotation of the nut 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
