PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid object arrangement method capable of arranging a liquid object with high accuracy, a method for manufacturing a color filter using the liquid object arrangement method, and a method for manufacturing an organic EL display. SOLUTION: The predetermined number b (6) of dots are eliminated from a first dot pattern in which the predetermined number a (24) of dots are set corresponding to each segmented area on a substrate to generate a second dot pattern. In this case, a spotted position of a droplet when it is assumed that discharge is performed based on the dots is calculated based on discharge information (arrangement position accuracy) of corresponding nozzles of each dot, and dots whose the spotted position is closer to the boundary of the segmented area is preferentially eliminated.
