<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize diversity control of a WUSB (wireless universal serial bus) terminal that includes a multi-element antenna. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the WUSB terminal, transmission output is weak and diversity control by directional control using a multi-element antenna is effective, diversity control is performed from the antenna element which is made into the multi-element antenna by taking the state of disposing the terminal into consideration, while referring to an actual install environment and limiting to irreducibly minimum elements; and the throughput reduction caused by increase in the overhead of wasteful selection control is reduced.
