<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having high electrostatic capacitance and a high breakdown voltage even when an internal electrode layer is made thin and multi-layered, and having a suppressed dielectric loss (tanδ). Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electronic component has an element body including the internal electrode layer and a dielectric layer, and the internal electrode layer contains at least Ni and nobel metal and has a line coverage of ≥75%, an electrode average thickness of ≤0.5 μm, and an electrode average length of ≥3.0 μm, the internal electrode layer containing >0 to ≤10 mol% of nobel metal.
