<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral inductor having a high Q value while its conductor line 11 has a low resistance value. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spiral inductor has a parallel plate type insulating substrate 10 and the conductor line 11 having a spiral shape arranged on a principal surface of the insulating substrate 10. The conductor line 11 has a shape approximated to a polygon which connects a plurality of segment-shaped elements P1 to P12 in series. At mutual connection parts of the elements P1 to P12, bent portions C1 to C11 are formed by cutting outside corner parts of the conductor line 11, and then reflection caused at the outside corner parts of the conductor line 11 in a high-frequency range can be suppressed.
