<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize angular errors depending on the positional relation between a controller and a traveling body and extend the controllable angle range with respect to traveling of a remote control traveling body which is controlled by a joy stick. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The positional azimuth γ of the traveling body 2 as viewed from the controller 1, the aspect β of the traveling body 2 as viewed from the controller 1 and a target angle α by steering of the controller 1 are obtained, and an aspect change drive means of the traveling body 2 is driven with values obtained by computing these data γ, β and α.
