摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of uniformizing a temperature distribution when a refrigerant inflow amount becomes very small, while securing uniformity of the temperature distribution when the refrigerant inflow amount is large. SOLUTION: This evaporator includes a leeward-side heat exchange section 10 and a windward-side heat exchange section 20 disposed in opposition to each other in the ventilating direction. In the leeward-side heat exchange section 10 and the windward-side heat exchange section 20, heat exchange pathways are divided into a plurality of paths of which the refrigerant circulating directions are directed in vertical directions, by partitioning plates 51 disposed in upper tanks 11, 21 and lower tanks 12, 22, and a refrigerant inlet 7 and a refrigerant outlet 8 are disposed on end positions of the upper tanks 11, 21. A refrigerant passing hole 52 for guiding a part of the refrigerant from the refrigerant inlet 7 to the third path 10c of the leeward-side heat exchange section 10, is formed on the partitioning plate 51 partitioning the first path 10a and the second path 10b of the leeward-side heat exchange section 10, among the partitioning plates 51 disposed to guide the refrigerant from the refrigerant inlet 7 to the refrigerant outlet 8 in a state of repeating downward flow and upward flow.
