PURPOSE: A copolymer, a manufacturing method thereof, a water treatment separation film including thereof, and a water treatment module are provided to remarkably improve the salt rejection rate of the water treatment separation. CONSTITUTION: A copolymer includes a recurring unit marked with chemical formula 1. A manufacturing method of the copolymer comprises a step of polymerizing a monomer compound including an aromatic compound having more than one sulfonic acid-based functional group, and an aromatic compound having more than one carboxyl-based functional group.
