WELDING SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRO-GAS ARC WELDING OF VERTICAL-UP TYPE

PURPOSE: A welding supporting assembly used for electro-gas arc welding of vertical-up type is provided to reduce weight and simplify manufacturing method by fixing a welding support assembly to ceramic body with an aluminum tape. CONSTITUTION: A welding supporting assembly used for electro-gas arc welding of vertical-up type comprises a unit welding supporting members, a supporting plate(43), a fixed tape(44), and a glass fiber(41). A bead groove for the back bead formation and welding gas exhaustion and the unit welding supporting members is made of the ceramics. The supporting plate has the mobility suitable for the perpendicular support and curved surface installation when adhering closely to the lower part of the unit welding supporting members. The supporting plate is made of aluminum. The fixed tape is aluminum. The glass fiber is attached at the upper part of the bead hole.
